Last summer, between two major client productions, we felt the need to get back into the field with a different mindset. Directed by Alix Papoutsos, this project titled "The Heat" was born from a simple desire: to experiment freely, away from the constraints of a formal brief.
"The Heat" isn't a showreel; it's a creative sketchbook. We took advantage of a few days shooting across the Lake Geneva region (Arc lémanique) to explore new camera dynamics and graphic textures.
The goal was to test our technical agility across three core disciplines:
The challenge was to think and shoot natively in 9:16. Rather than simply cropping horizontal footage, we worked on specific angles and transitions to ensure the vertical format truly serves the immersion. This stylistic exercise allows us to refine our responsiveness for social media content while maintaining the high technical standards inherent to our agency.
We believe that real progress happens during these moments of "play." "The Heat" illustrates our core philosophy: staying curious, testing new visual renders (thermal effects, kinetic transitions), and, above all, filming with a great team spirit. It’s a project that enriches our technical toolkit for our upcoming collaborations.
"A summer break to test graphic concepts and produce fun, high-quality content : it's as simple as that."
