Every year, Union Bancaire Privée (UBP) entrusts us with the mission of translating their seasonal greetings into images. For the 2026 edition, the challenge was significant: how could we use generative Artificial Intelligence — often perceived as cold or impersonal — to convey a message of warmth and proximity? The goal was to use technology not as an end in itself, but as a vehicle for pure emotion to embody the institution's renewal.
Our approach was to treat AI as a digital paintbrush at the service of a poetic narrative. Leveraging cutting-edge technologies like Kling and Nano Banana, we designed a universe in the form of a pop-up book. This aesthetic choice allows for a seamless transition between two worlds: on one side, a futuristic metropolis symbolizing transformation and innovation; on the other, the intimacy of a Christmas market and the gentleness of a shared meal. We wanted to remind the audience that, behind every technological advancement, human connection remains the engine of our happiness.
The result is a greeting card that is both technological and deeply sincere. By placing the human element at the center of the machine, this film demonstrates that innovation only makes sense when it serves to bring us closer together. A creative tour de force proving that AI, too, can have a soul.
