Based near Annecy, L’Imagerie Films works with brands across France to produce video content for social media, websites and digital campaigns.
For this Perene production, our team travelled to Brive-la-Gaillarde for a two-day shoot across two houses. Rather than delivering one standalone video, the production created a varied bank of footage that can be used to make several pieces of content for the brand’s Instagram account and other digital channels.
This approach is central to our brand content production: planning each shoot around multiple uses, formats and publication dates.
Communication teams now need more than one hero film.
They require regular content for Instagram, LinkedIn, websites and paid campaigns. We therefore plan each production around a range of shots, including wider views, close-ups, details and camera movements.
For the Perene project, the footage was captured in 7K. This resolution gives our in-house post-production team more room to create vertical, horizontal and square versions from the same source material.
The framing was considered during filming so that the images could be adapted to formats including:
This means the different versions are anticipated on set rather than treated as an afterthought during editing.
The shoot took place in two houses near Brive-la-Gaillarde.
Across the two days, the team filmed several interior spaces, including kitchens and other fitted living areas, as well as exterior scenes around a swimming pool.
Each space was prepared before filming, with the video team coordinating with the people responsible for styling and photography. This organisation helped the production move between rooms, shot sizes and camera setups during the time available on location.
The result was not a single sequence, but a broader collection of footage ready to support several social media edits.
Our production company is based near Annecy, between France and Geneva, but our team regularly travels for shoots throughout France.
A location shoot requires travel, equipment and coordination between several people. We therefore prepare each production to make effective use of the time spent on location.
Before filming begins, we identify the spaces, formats and types of shots required. During the shoot, we capture enough variation to give the editing team several options without repeating the same setup unnecessarily.
This method allows one trip to generate a larger volume of usable footage for social media videos, while maintaining consistency across the different assets.
This production forms part of our ongoing work with Perene.
We support the brand throughout the year, with shoots taking place approximately once per quarter. Each production adds new material to the existing content library and gives the communication team fresh footage for upcoming publications.
This regular schedule also allows the content to be produced in planned stages. Instead of organising a separate shoot for every Instagram post or Reel, several deliverables can be developed from each production period.
A video shoot does not have to result in a single finished film.
With the formats defined in advance, footage captured in 7K and post-production handled in-house, the same production can generate several assets adapted to different digital channels.
For Perene, two days in Brive-la-Gaillarde provided the material needed to create multiple pieces of social media content. It is a practical model for brands that need to publish regularly without organising a new production for every post.
