To celebrate its tenth anniversary, Vaonis, a French company specializing in smart telescopes and astronomy, hosted a keynote looking back at its journey and unveiling its latest innovation: Atlas.
Following several previous collaborations, including the launch of Hestia, we joined forces with Vaonis once again, this time for post-production.
For the occasion, a three-minute film created entirely in 3D was developed under the direction of Thomas Limouzin. Several 3D artists contributed to the project, each bringing a different chapter of the Vaonis story to life.
Our role at L'Imagerie Films was to bring these sequences together into one cohesive, engaging and immersive film.
Our involvement focused on post-production: editing, music selection and mixing in a super short amount of time. At the same time, we also adapted the film into 9:16 and 4:5 formats, maintaining the same level of quality under equally tight deadlines. Another post-production challenge to ensure all content was ready in time for the launch.
This project was also a great collective effort, bringing together the 3D talents of Jiin Kim, Mihai Iliuta, Dylan Pollet, Diego Martinez, Louis Chasles, Max Kolevatov and Guillaume Cotton, alongside Matthew Swinbourne (Cannysound) on sound design. A collaboration that brought the film to life and helped make the unveiling of Atlas a memorable moment.
