The Collectibles - 101
How do you pay tribute to the infinitely small while telling a grand story? For Jaeger-LeCoultre, the challenge was to magnify the Calibre 101, the world’s smallest mechanical movement, without losing the essence of its nearly century-old heritage. The goal was not merely to document a technical feat, but to reveal the soul of an icon within "The Collectibles" series.
Our approach was one of total immersion, where watchmaking precision meets the pulse of history. By connecting this microscopic mechanics to the defining moments of the 20th century, from the elegance of the 1920s to the coronation of Queen Elizabeth II, we transformed a precision object into a fragment of collective memory. Emotion arises from the striking contrast between the tiny mechanics and the vastness of its cultural impact.
