The Collectibles, Chapter Reverso: A New Film for Jaeger-LeCoultre
Some collaborations don't just repeat themselves. They deepen.
We're proud to share the latest chapter of The Collectibles, our ongoing film series produced for Jaeger-LeCoultre, this time dedicated to the Reverso, one of the most iconic timepieces in watchmaking history.
Inside the Archives
For this episode, we were once again granted privileged access to the Manufacture's archives. From the earliest Reverso calibres to the defining design choices that shaped the watch over decades, we had the rare opportunity to let the object tell its own story, on its own terms.
A full day of filming alongside a master watchmaker gave us something no catalogue can offer: the gesture, the knowledge, the living memory of a piece that has been reimagined countless times without ever losing its identity.
The Production
True to the standard we've set for this series, every creative and technical dimension was handled in-house at L'Imagerie Films.
We wrote the script and narrative framework from the ground up as part of our luxury brand film approach, building a structure that balances historical depth with visual rhythm. To capture the Reverso as it deserves, we deployed motion control, a technique that allows for bold, precisely choreographed camera movements around the piece, frame by frame.
Post-production brought it all together: motion design and editing were crafted to match the visual language of the series, while sound design was composed to give the film its final weight and atmosphere.
A Film Built for Depth, Not Scale
The Collectibles isn't made for mass reach. It's made for rooms where it matters: private events, internal screenings, the Manufacture's own digital presence. That's a deliberate positioning. When a brand like Jaeger-LeCoultre produces this kind of content, the goal isn't virality. It's authority.
The Reverso chapter is now live on their platform. Another episode in a series we're proud to keep building, chapter by chapter.
