The Challenge
As Europe came out of the pandemic, Hublot brought us back for a new chapter of their Manufacture Series, this time focused on sapphire, a material Hublot uses not only for the watch crystal but, more rarely, for the case itself. The real challenge here wasn't technical, it was visual: turning a working industrial supplier's site into something that felt as refined as the watches it helps produce.
Our Approach
We spent two days filming at a specialist supplier's facility in La Chaux-de-Fonds, with a large crew dedicated almost entirely to transforming the space itself. Before a single shot was framed, the team relit the workshop, redressed and rearranged the rooms, and hung large black drapes to block out the ordinary factory backdrop, turning an unglamorous industrial environment into a set worthy of the brand.
What We Delivered
Still in Use Today
The film has stayed in active rotation well beyond its original release, including a screening at Watches and Wonders 2025, a sign that the craft put into transforming that industrial site into a luxury set has held up over time.
