For the launch of the Polaris Date, Jaeger-LeCoultre entrusted L’Imagerie with the production of a film and a series of visuals designed to highlight the watch’s design, the Manufacture’s craftsmanship and its new bracelet.
A project combining audiovisual production with our expertise in films for luxury brands, built around one creative ambition: to evoke the presence of water without ever directly immersing the watch.
Aquatic reflections, metal, glass and slate create a mineral and immersive environment around the Polaris Date.
A visual approach that echoes the identity of the Polaris collection while preserving a precise, graphic and sophisticated representation of the watch.
To bring this atmospheric immersion to life, much of the effect was created directly in camera.
The team developed a water setup designed to physically generate moving light and aquatic reflections across the set and around the watch.
The system was carefully adjusted on set to find the right balance between movement, light and product visibility.
The shoot took place over two days inside the Jaeger-LeCoultre Manufacture in Switzerland, with the first day dedicated to craftsmanship and the second to product imagery.
The work created on set was then carried through by our in-house post-production team.
Editing, color grading, VFX, retouching and clean-up were all handled internally, ensuring consistency between the visual direction established during the shoot and the final images.
The result is a visual world that feels both mineral and aquatic, shaped through material, movement and light to reveal the Polaris Date down to its finest details.
The campaign went on to reach 63,000 views on Instagram.
