The Challenge

Patriarche, an architecture firm, asked us for a film that could explain their identity to clients: what "augmented architecture" actually means for them. Rather than building the narrative around executives and managers, we chose to build it entirely from the voices of individual employees, letting their words come together into one shared message rather than dictating it top-down.

Our Approach

This was as much a writing challenge as a production one: we knew roughly what story we wanted to tell, but the film only came together once each person's interview was in place, piece by piece. Around ten days of filming took us across multiple sites: Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, Switzerland, Canada, Futuroscope in Poitiers, and London, with different crews covering different locations. Wherever we filmed, we returned again and again to the same golden hour, capturing Patriarche's buildings in that in-between light just as day turns to night.

What We Delivered

  • Around ten days of filming across multiple international locations: Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, Switzerland, Canada, Poitiers and London.
  • A narrative built entirely from individual employee interviews rather than executive voices.
  • Consistent golden-hour cinematography of Patriarche's architecture throughout.
  • A 10-minute film, longer than most corporate pieces but built to hold attention.

Still in Use Today

The film remains in active use at Patriarche, helping clients understand who they are. It's a project we're genuinely proud of: a real narrative challenge, solved while still showcasing both the firm's buildings and its people.
